About Taiwan Lapsang Souchong black tea: Luxury Taiwanese medium-bodied black tea with hints of oak and pine fire. It is produced by withering freshly plucked tea leaves over pine and oak fire, pan frying and hand rolling them. The process continues with pressing the leaves, covering with clothes in wooden barrels and leaving the tea to ferment. The process is completed when the leaves are rolled again and hung in bamboo baskets over burning pine.
